Katie Holmes Signs On for Broadway Show “Dead Accounts” » Gossip - Ready to move forward now that she's come to terms with ex-husband Tom Cruise as far as their divorce is concerned, Katie Holmes has decided to turn her focus on returning to the Broadway stage.
The 33-year-old actress - who was spotted reuniting with daughter Suri in NYC on Thursday evening (July 19) - will be calling the Big Apple her home while having signed on to star in a five character family comedy titled “Dead Accounts”.
Put together by “Smash” creator Theresa Rebeck, Miss Holmes has been cast to play the role of Lorna - a woman who's living with her parents while trying to get her life on the right track.
With Jack O'Brien directing the Music Box Theatre hosted run, the production also “centers on one of her siblings, a prodigal son who returns home with secrets, including a load of new money and a missing wife.” With no specific date yet to be revealed, opening night will take place sometime this fall.
